What are your thoughts? I just booked an ADR here and would love to hear everything - positives, negatives, and of course I would LOOOOVE to see pictures! Thanks!

This was my favorite meal of our whole trip. It was fun and relaxing and I was glad to have a meal without princesses or fuzzy characters interrupting me every 3 minutes.

We loved it. Just a fun atmosphere and I like the fact that the waiters are allowed to tease and you can poke fun right back at them ;) I guess if you are a stodgy, uptight person, you might not like the games that are played there- but for the most part, it's all in fun.

No pictures- but we got the platter to share and it was delicious! I think there was shredded pork on it (BBQ) and I usually don't care for pork, but wow- I probably ate more then my fair share :D

We ate there for our first ever Thanksgiving at WDW. We were not impressed but it might be that it was very crowded and a holiday. I can remember kids running through the restaurant on stick ponies and lots of yelling back and forth between the wait staff and also I think they did something with napkins there too.......like pretending they were lasos in the air. :rotfl: Needless to say.......it was not what I expected back then for a Thanksgiving meal. I would probaby be willing to try it again but maybe for lunch......maybe it is not as crazy or crowded since most people would be in the parks.

My girls and I ate there twice and we loved it. Yes, it can get loud, so if you don't like that sort of atmosphere, I'd think twice before eating there. They do play games, like having the kids ride the stick ponies around the restaurant, kissing contests with couples, etc. One night when we were there, they made a man ride a pony stick around the restaurant and he had to sing while doing it. It was riot! :thumbsup2 Oh yeah, we enjoyed the food too.

If you want to be a part of the action - tell the podium when you first check in or you may be stuck in an out of the way corner with a quiet server. We've gone twice, and both times were put "out of the way" (back corner or on the entire other side of the fireplace.

The dinner menu seemed to be all pork & shrimp. Neither of which my family is too keen on. The kids ate nothing although they raved over the cornbread and I enjoyed my margarita (my 1st and only drink of the trip) - but there is no way the meal was worth the $90 I spent (including tip) for the three of us.

I love WL, but we won't be doing WCC again.

I went in September of '06. We didn't care for the food. We got the platter. Our waiter was horrible and never refilled our drinks or checked back on us. If we were to ever eat here again I wouldn't order the platter.

We've ate there twice for dinner and enjoyed it both times. My husband, daughter and myself always get the skillet and think it's quite good. The bottomless milkshakes are fantastic! And the kids love the stick pony races.:thumbsup2

We liked it. We especially liked the pulled pork, cornbread, and mashed potatoes in the skillet. Next time, we might just ask for those three things!

We also really love their breakfast. That is where we plan to end all our trips from now on.

If you don't want to be interrupted by princesses or fuzzy characters, perhaps you shouldn't book character meals.

We ate there on our last trip and we loved it.. The kids also loved it. With 4 kids the noise did not bother us, The games were fun and the waiter and waitresses were histerical. We are going back the week after easter and already book our reservations for it. It was one of out most memorable dinners at wdw. I am sure you wil live it.

2 more weeks till we take our drive from NJ

Driving from NJ?! How far is that?

anyways, thanks everyone for your thoughts! I had originally just booked a kona breakfast on easter but then decided to add a dinner. I wanted to do a character dinner but there was literally no availability anywhere! so I have kind of always wanted to try WCC and they luckily had an opening. Should be a fun Easter dinner hehe!

I can't wait to eat here. Although it's just going to be my DS5 and I. I think we could make pretty good use of the platter.

We're doing this on our DDP, can my son share the platter with me, or does he HAVE to order something off of the kids menu??

We love WC... Food is simple but done very well.... Please remember going in that the food is not fancy and the menu is on the smaller side... Servers are like characters themselves... Love the atmosphere... ENJOY!!!!

They only let you share with children under 3 for free... otherwise they will charge for him to share.

We LOVE it at the WC. Its loads of fun~can't wait to eat there again in August.

Dh and I ate at WC last October for the first time and we will return!!!! We loved it and walked away stuffed to the gills with wonderful food. I highly recommend you try it also. Its also ton of fun. :thumbsup2
