i want to try this restaurant and i know there is a lot of "harassment" and fun that goes on there. my dh and i (no kids) are fun with the fun but how embarassing is it? i know this a personal question i guess but feedback would be helpful.

It is definitely loud. We stayed at VWL last year and ate their within an hour of arriving at the resort. After a long day of flying and riding on the DME, we were ready for some food. The food was pretty good, but MIL, FIL, BIL and SIL were pretty tired, so I don't think they cared for the noise and activity much. There was a young boy at the table next to us who was embarrassed to tears. The waiter felt horrible, but everything he did to try to make it up to the boy just made things worse. The manager came over and tried to help, but nothing seemed to work. We felt terrible for everyone involved.

I don't mean to sound negative (I actually enjoyed the meal and entertainment), but if you don't like it loud and crazy, you may want to try Artist Point.

i would disagree with the loud part - depending on where you sit. last time, DGF and i sat towards the back of the restaurant (or the first part you see as you walk into WL). we didn't ask to, it's just where we were. there were about 6 tables and it wasn't part of the main room. we didn't partake in what most people did, but our server was still playful and we had a good time

its not too embarrassing..if you ask for a straw they will throw a bunch at you, or bring you a HUGE glass of soda..things like that. they have a ketchup run, if someone asks for ketchup the whole restaurant is suppose to run it over to whomever asked for it. the fun and loudness is not the problem, the food is!
