I booked WCC thinking that my 5, 3 and 1 year old would enjoy it. Do they play music? Is there entertainment? WHat is it like? If you don't recommend it, would you recommend the Plaza or The Wave instead? Again, we will be travelling with our 3 little kiddos and already have Le Cellier and Tutto ITalia on the schedule!

We tried WCC for the first time in September. I don't remember music playing as per say. It was fun - dd age 9 really enjoyed the pony stick ride events that took place and the service itself was fun.

On the downside she did not like her ribs and something there (maybe the shake?) upset her tummy so we spent a significant amount of time in/ out of the restroom.

While the atmosphere was fun I was the only one that really liked my food (the ribeye) so we won't be back.

We've never tried the Wave or the Plaza so I can't comment on those.

I have been to all three of your choices.

The Plaza would be a good choice for your kids. It is a nice restaurant and kid friendly.

DH and I went to the Wave for a romantic dinner. The food was fancy and pricey, but good. The portions were not huge. The atmosphere was subdued.
We didn't see anything on the dessert menu that we liked. We were looking for an unfancy piece of chocolate cake, no coconut, no raspberry filling, just chocolate. They had little desserts that came in threes- all of them were too fancy for our tastes. We headed over to the MK and had dessert at the bakery.

And what about Whispering Canyon Cafe???

The whispering canyon is fun, but at times can get loud. The food is OK. Kids with sensory issues may not enjoy it. To be fair it is not nearly as loud as it used to be, at one time it was like dining in the middle of a cowboy circus, with people yelling. Some people really miss the yelling.

The wave is a little more mature, you are already going to Tutto and Le Cellier so the kids may be bored with this choice. However of the 3 restaurants this is by far the best food.

The Plaza has good food and a really nice atmosphere. I think this is the best choice for your family.

Those places are like apples, oranges and bananas :lmao:

WCC is horrible, we went in Aug and the server was a dud, the food was fatty, greasy and terrible and there were no antics, fun, games or anything going on

The Plaza is good but its like diner food

The Wave is to die for and is identical to a signature restaurant with a cheaper bill

From a kid's POV, I would think that the stick pony races and ketchup runs would make WCC the most fun choice for them. They have a chance to get out of their seats for a little bit during the meal, and they'll also like the Lincoln Logs in the waiting area. Getting there via boat is fun, too!

I haven't been to the other two, but we loved the Plaza when we were there. It's on our list of ones we have to go back to!

We just got back from our trip in September and this is the only restaurant we would never set foot in again. The food was horrible, dry and expensive. My daughter got sick after drinking the caramel milkshake. It wasn't at all fun and we left before dessert. The tension of waitresses throwing stuff on your table and carrying trays of food over your head and children with wooden sticks running into your chair while trying to eat was enough to cause anyone heartburn. Again I say never again.
