I am in a mild dilemma. We are staying at the WL this August. We have everything scheduled but I am having second doubts about 1 meal. My husband loves the WCC breakfast and I have it scheduled but I am considering scheduling 1900 Park Fare for my daughter. She is a HUGE Mary Poppins fan. How is the food there for breakfast? Do they run late often at breakfast? Food is the one way I will be able to sell it to my husband :rotfl: so any advice is appreciated.

We ate breakfast there in 08. I am a picky eater but I love breakfast food. I had a great omelet, which I rarely eat and it was wonderful. I love the strawberry soup. The characters were fun esp the mad hatter.

Who all was there? Mad Hatter, Alice and Mary Poppins? I have booked it for my daughter at her request this year too, but we didn't really know who we would get to see. I guess I need to find out before I get the autograph book made though.

This is how I sold it to my DH (who is being subjected to many character meals on this trip).

"Honey, it's an all you can eat buffet with a make your own omlette station! They have fresh fruit, BACON, and waffles."
"You had me at Make your own omlette."

I dont remember them running late, we had 830 am or earlier ADR's there. I do remember that Pooh and Tigger came around first followed by Mary Poppins, Alice and then the Mad Hatter.

My daughter and I had breakfast in November. I am strictly listing characters that I have pictures on my iPhone from that morning. Tigger, Pooh, Alice, Mad Hatter and Mary Poppins.

We have reservations for breakfast exactly one week from today! We love it :lovestruc

The later in the morning, the later they "may" run. It's just how it is with any meal. As far as characters, I remember Mary Poppins, Mad Hatter, Alice and then maybe Tigger and Pooh? The food was good. If you're comparing food to food, I like the skillet better at Whispering Canyon. If you're comparing overall experience to experience, then 1900 Park Fare probably nudges past Whispering Canyon...

Did someone say BACON??? How come women think us men are suckers for BACON?

OK we are and yes it was very good

Speaking of WCC is it appropriate for a 4 year old? I know the whole thing with the ketchup, but isnt' 50's PT worse? I mean not for me i get a clean plate sticker every time. DW on the other hand not so much.

I can say that my 2 year old LOVED it. All the interaction and fun was very engrossing. We liked it so much for breakfast that we went back for lunch one day. My husband likes all the breakfast meats on the platter. You can either order the skillet or they do have ala carte as well. :)

We have only done dinner at both, and will be again in 64 days! Have never thought about breakfast before. We have always only done breakfast at CP and Akersus.

The breakfast was very nice. All you can eat of the typical breakfast foods: eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage, bacon, and potatoes. I have found the employees to be excellent readers of people and tone down or bring up the personality depending on the table. We are somewhere in the middle. We were pleased and can be somewhat picky as I am from Georgia and us Southerners are masters of breakfast foods including the biscuit.

I've taken my almost 2 year old and my 5 year old there. They LOVED it!
When we first went in for lunch, it was kind of slow and a server from another section kept comming buy to play with my girls....his favorite saying was "WHATEVER!". I was rolling and so were my girls. My youngest was to busy stuffing her face to notice however. I even remember the names of the CM's we had taking care of us and horsing around with us...Cajun Chad and Rusty Raphael (cant spell that name for the life of me). They were great!

Oh and my DH is a BACONAHOLIC! Then again so am I :rotfl:

I know the characters at 1900 include the step mother, step sisters, and prince charming from cinderella (among others).

Yes, those are the characters for dinner. Breakfast is Mary Poppins, Mad Hatter, Alice, Pooh and Tigger.

I have had dinner at 1900 and my only memory was that it was extremely loud!!! I would avoid that place unless you bring earplugs.

I think we are just going to keep it as is. She is already scheduled to eat at Crystal Palace and Akershus so I think we will give this one over to the hubby. He deserves it. :flower3:

i have never been to WC but i heard its awsome! totally do 1900 park fair if you get the chance! it is wonderful
