Hello!

I was reading the menus at allears, and it says for the kids,
" Appetizers: Fruit cup OR Garden Salad
Entrees: Cheeseburger OR Canyon Skillet - choice of chicken or ribs with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob (Add $2.00 for Skillet)
Desserts: Cinnamon Apples OR Chocolate Chip Cookies "

So here is my question:

Can the skillet still be used as a Dining Plan table service credit? for adults and children?

If children are able to use their DDP credit, will there also be a $2.00 charge added to the bill?

And finally: if adult is getting the skillet, and children are getting the skillet, do they not just bring out 1 adult skillet? or will there be 3  on the table at one time? (1 adult, 1 for each child assuming both get skillet)

We have never been charged the 2.oo fee in addition to our TS credits for the kids. They bring out one skillet the size depending on the amount of people ordering the skillet

ok great thanks! I was worried since it says that they have a choice on thier skillet of chicken OR ribs, not both

Thanks. :O)

The additional $2 charge is covered by the dining plan, you will not be asked to pay out of pocket for it.

As for the skillet, each child will receive their own little skillet which fits on the Mickey plate with either chicken or ribs, mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. The adult skillet size will depend on how many adults order it.

Hope this helps.

Our kids get the skillet. You don't have to pay the $2 extra and while they sk the kids chicken or ribs, they are allowed to order more (of the same or different) or can just eat more off the adult's skillet. My kids had lots of both the chicken and the ribs and the otehr things but it was served to them on the mickey plate.

Suzanne,
OT: I know you work at Whispering Canyon. I'm going on the Backstage Magic tour Monday (May 11th). Lunch of course, is included at Whispering Canyon. Any chance you might be working that day? Also what is included in that lunch? Must we order the all you can eat skillet or can we order something else.? (trout maybe?)

Is this new with kids getting there own little skillet, we have been there on our last few trips and we get a large skillet in the middle of the table for us all to share, never anything seperate for the kids. Or is this if just the child orders the skillet and noone else at the table?

When we were there in August Kids did not get their own lil skillet they eat off the same skillet as you so they have all the same options except dessert is limited for kids. It's an awesome meal! The chicken was the best i've had! :thumbsup2 Also we were not charged the $2 either it was covered under the DDP! :)( Ps everyone in our party ordered the skillet including kids)

So when did they start serving the kids a seperate lil skillet? recently? just curious since it was all one like I stated above in August??????

Hi, I work dinner only but hope you have a good time! The info I've seen with the Backstage Magic tour is that everyone gets the lunch skillet, a soda or tea and a family style cobbler for dessert. I will try and verify this next time I work.

Yes, kids get their own small skillet with either chicken or ribs, mashed potatoes and corn plus the app and dessert on the Mickey plate. This started with the last reprint of the kids menu, not sure of the date but its been atleast a couple of months.

We were told changes coming in June with the next adult menu reprint but haven't heard what they are yet.

Ok so this maybe a stupid question but then is the kids skillet refillable also like the adult skillet if they choose to have more? Just curious since they made a kids skillet.

We went to Whispering Canyon in February and everyone at the table had the skillet. 3 adults and 2 children. My 7 year old nephew was able to get extras of whatever he wanted on his skillet. It worked very well for all of us.

Too much food but it was great value on the DDP.

Enjoy!

Just wanted to say Hi Hedda! We missed you on our last trip in November (you had gone home sick that night), but we had a great server, I think his name was Rafael. But we hope to see you again next time!
