Whispering Canyon Cafe for lunch

I have never been to Whispering Canyon Cafe for lunch, only dinner. Will the experience be just as fun? This isn't even a "Disney" trip, myself and a girlfriend are going on a cruise and stopping by for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on our way home. She has never been to Disney and I want her to have a "memorable" lunch.

We love it for lunch. It's not very busy when we go. They open at 11:45 and we are there at opening. The servers do all the same antics. We don't get the skillet but I love all the other choices. I've had delicious salads, soups, sandwiches. My kids love to share the chips with chili, queso and salsa. It's a good time.
