Whispering Canyon Cafe; dinner starts at 5pm; why is my reservation time 4pm?

Even though it didn't make sense to me, I took it anyway because it was my only option close to 5pm, which is when dinner begins.

However, my 4pm reservation can't be for lunch because lunch is listed as ending at 2:30pm - I assume that is correct?

I want dinner. Do I have dinner? What's the deal? Do we show up at 4pm & wait an hour to be seated for dinner at 5pm?

if you're there during Free Dining I would guess they are operating with extended hours...many of the restaurants open earlier/stay open longer to accomodate all the reservation requests during free dining. Prime example: Chef Mickey's is not usually open for lunch,just breakfast & dinner. During Free Dining promo, Chef Mickey's is open for lunch. WCC is a popular place, too, I'll bet you get seated shortly after 4:00.

That's correct. Last year we had an ADR time of 4:30 at Whispering Canyon Cafe even though the website said it opened at 5. We called to double check and was told that the dinner hour had been extended because of free dining. Enjoy your dinner.
