Whispering Canyon Cafe Breakfast Questions

I'm thinking about having a non-character breakfast one morning for me, my DH and DS (8). Do they do the silly antics at Whispering Canyon cafe at breakfast time? My son thought the whole ketchup thing was hysterical.

The other question is are there milkshakes at breakfast and can you get them on the DDP. I'm sure my DS would think that'd be the coolest breakfast ever if he could have a milkshake with it.

Hey Nikki~~ I have of an ADR for The Whispering Canyon the morning of my son's 8th birthday...I read a lot of reviews regarding the Whispering Canyon and decided that the antics and fun atmosphere would be a good fit for my son's birthday breakfast...Just remember that every restaurant in WDW has mixed reviews...have a great trip! ~ Nancy

We had breakfast there about a year ago. We were only 4 adults- no kids. And at 8am, we were the first guests in the restaurant.
Still- our server was fun and we enjoyed her sarcastic remarks and comments! Once a few more guests arrived- she started interactions between the tables.
It is not full-out crazy antics like at dinner time, and I don't know how silly it may have gotten had any of the parties present had young kids. But it was fun, and the food was great!

Yes, you can get the milkshake for breakfast and it is on the plan... I got it when we went in October and it was yummy...

The severs in the AM will put on a show but not the whole time... They have the horse races for the kids and the place is loud but the servers will leve you to enjoy your food... They are truly characters themselves and will put a smile on your face... But it is not over the top.

Great choice for a breakfast

We had breakfast there a while back and LOVED it! Not only was the food good, our waitress was a blast! She was an older lady who's name tag said "M.T. Wallet" (get it, empty wallet LOL LOL). I laugh just thinking of her, she would flirt with DH in an obnoxious way, and then tell him that she was sorry, but she was taken.
