Whispering Canyon Breakfast

How is the breakfast at Whispering Canyon? I see they have an all you can eat family style breakfast, but is that just a lot of heavy greasy stuff? I know they also have a menu, but I with 5 children I always think it's best to go family style or buffet, so you can eat pretty quickly.
Oh.., do they "entertain" at breakfast the same as they do at dinner?

The skillet breakfast I had at WC was delicious...grits, eggs, biscuits, bacon (I think). It was very good. The waiter did give my son and his friend a little grief for not finishing their eggs! Enjoy!

Whispering Canyon Cafe is probably our favorite restarant in the World. We try to have breakfast there at least once every trip. Yes, they "entertain" at breakfast as well.

In addition to the heavy greasy stuff (bacon and sausage) there are biscuits, waffles, hash brown rounds (i.e. tater tots), and scrambled eggs.

We have had breakfast at WCC twice and have enjoyed it both times. Both times we have had the skillet breakfast and the food was very good and the entertainment was lots of fun. They had hobby horse races, sang Happy Birthday to a boy and when a teenage boy didn't sing loud enough they made him sing it all by himself. They also made all of the Dads stand in the middle and sing and dance to "I'm a Little Teapot". That was quite hilarious! It is a great place to eat but keep in mind that these antics MAY happen and are not guaranteed. We were there for dinner one night and there were not many antics going on, but another time it was quite loud with a lot going on. Definitely not a quiet place.

Yummy! The sausage gravy is SOOOO GOOD!!!! Definitely go for the breakfast skillet if you're doing breakfast. Best breakfast I've had in WDW, and that's counting Chef Mickey's and Cape May.

They do the antics too but it's more subdued, especially at 8 in the morning. If you really want rowdy, then dinner is your best bet, because at dinner it's LOUD!
