We are staying at WL in January and it would be easiest to have breakfast at our resort rather than travel to another. However, I have only had one dining experience at WCC, a dinner, and it was awful. Long wait, very loud, mediocre food, bad service that repeated the ketchup joke with zero enthusiasm.

so my question is, how is the breakfast? Is the food better, and the jokes less annoying (or at least, do they come off as funny because they are not beaten like a dead horse?) I truly realize that people go there for the hijinx, but wondered if maybe they toned it down for the early AM hours. My other choices would be Kona or the Wave.

Thanks!

We ate there once for breakfast and it seemed more low keyed....but we won't eat there for lunch/dinner because of all the hijinx...not entertaining for us.

I'd also suggest going to Trail's End at Fort Wilderness for their breakfast buffet. :thumbsup2

It was toned down, they still do the ketchup thing though. The menu was pretty limiting for my liking, I wasn't overly impressed with what I had other than the mickey waffles I stole off of DH's plate.

1) WCC gets noisy at times - depends upon the crowd.
. . . if they want to have fun, the CM's join in
. . . the noise and antics then feed upon themselves and it gets louder
2) Or, it can be just loud conversation.
3) Depends upon the day, the crowd and the CM's.
4) But, NEVER is it a quiet eatery.

I feel rather honored to have my post answered by The Rusty Scupper!! I always enjoy your numbered style, and sense of humor!!!! THANKS!!!!

WCC is OK more toned down for beakfast but as one said you should try Trail's End IMHO. I always make an ADR for here.

We stayed at the WL on our last trip and ate at WCC twice just because it was so good. We went early in the morning, I think they start serving breakfast at 7:30. Anyway there were only 2 other people up and having breakfast at that hour so there was absolutely no hijinx. Thank God. That is just way too early in the morning for all that noise. I did order a coke not to get attention but because I'm not a big coffee or juice drinker. I would have ordered sweet tea if Disney had good sweet tea. So I told the server this and he just brought out the coke, he gave me a straw, didn't have to ask for it and they weren't thrown on the table. The biscuits and gravy were to die for, wish mine were that good. Then you have the standard Disney sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, and potatoes all for around $12 not bad for Disney prices. I highly recommend WCC, if you want it quiet go early though. We're staying at the Poly our next trip and plan on going there for our last breakfast, that's how much we like it.

We skipped WCC altogether and hit up Roaring Fork's CS for breakfast. WCC just seemed so... LOUD.
