So I was just talking to my wife about Disney Restaurants and said how much she liked the atmosphere of WCC.

I told that I swear I saw something somewhere that the antics had been greatly toned down. As in they will just hand you a bottle of ketchup and not scream

WE NEED KETCHUP!!!!!!

My wife will be very disappointed it this is true.

I had also seen a video review where you were given an card that you could display on whether or not you wanted the antics.

I was there last week and we did not get the coaster. Maybe that has been discontinued? They did still yell for the ketchup. And had the kids go around with the stick ponies.

I think the coaster was a test and I had heard it was discontinued but then thought I read some sort of rumors that when they got rid of the coasters they got rid of the antics.

I am most curious.....I will cancel my reservation here if it is just another boring restaurant. I can bore the kids in a much better place for the same money. I want CRAZY!!!!!!!

I do nto think you will get crazy. There are a few threads here with comments from folks who have been lately. They antics are there, I guess, but they are not crazy any longer.

We went years ago with our DS and found it boring. The antics were too staged and not enough of them. The pony ride is cute for a certain age group. The food was good but we wanted fun. Per my DH "it wasn't that funny" (just now recalling the dinner). So many more fun places to eat.

Last month, the waiters/waitresses were not supposed to yell for ketchup but they encouraged the guests to yell. So the guests would yell and all of the other guests would deliver ketchup. I was there for a late lunch. I did not see any pony rides. I did not see any antics other than the ketchup thing.
