Bear with me, folks.... I just finished a leisurely bath using the Elemis products from the ship, have my lavender essential oil drops on a hanky tucked under my shoulder sleeve, watched the Magic leave without me on the port cam and I'M SAD.... :(

It gets worse........

1. You'll spend weeks sitting at the table waiting for your server to put your napkin on your lap for you......

2. Your husband walks in the room to find you tearing your bed apart looking for Chocolates...........

3. You keep the T.V. turned down low, so you don't miss any announcements.........

4. Your family now has a new dress code for dinner..........RESORT CASUAL......

5. You continue to run from the bathroom as soon as you flush.....

6. You fold all the laundry in "CUTESY" animal shapes.........

7. Your days of the week are no longer.......sunday........monday......tuesday..........
But, seaday, seaday, St. Maartin, St. Thomas, Seaday....CCday...

Those are sooooo true, Patty!! I have only one more to add:

8. For weeks, you stand there with phone in hand, looking in vain for the "in-stateroom dining" button...

I never did find the darn thing. Guess I need a new phone. ;)

The best way to get over those blues is work on planning your next one!! 153 more days for me! *grin*

Consider this dilema from the other side of the emotional fence - to be happy in the bliss of never having experienced a Disney cruise! With THAT in mind, I'll not-so-patiently wait until next year's cruise... while dreaming of Richi and Zama, by far and away the best server and assistant server on either inside or outside the seven seas!

Oh yuck!!! And to think I was actually HAPPY before I knew about cruising with the Mouse.... perish the thought! ;)

I actually double dogged dared my DH to sit on the toilet AND flush just to see what would happen (I am SO mean to that poor man!) but he wouldn't accept the dare - I can't figure out why! ;) And my kids are really having fun with the laundry to see if we can come up with animal shapes! It sure puts some strange wrinkles in knit clothes, though...

I've been checking out HAL cruises for DH and me for our anniversary next year and I was disappointed to find that their newest ship, Zuiderdam, which will have her inaugural sailing this December, only has 2 sea days. We really did enjoy the 3 sea days on the Magic's eastern itinerary. I don't dare book another Disney cruise without our kids; we have to live with THEIR whining! LOL Heck, I'd love a cruise that doesn't visit any port!

Ohhhhhh.... the flush/run brings back so many heartfelt memories. One of my daughter's favorite "in stateroom" activities was to flush, run, jump up and land on the bed in a frog position. I would time her to see how long it took her to hit the bed.
*sniff sniff*
Thanks for the memories, guys!

The sound is loud enough to make anyone think that you're about to tour the inner plumbing works of the ship if you're still sitting down when you flush!

LOL!! That reason had not even occurred to me. I was sure it was for another reason and am so glad I was wrong.

It still gets worse......

1. Your bedrooms are now divided into categories depending on their size and view. You yearn for a verandah....

2. Meal time becomes divided into early and late seatings.

3. You start to cry during dinner when DH says, "well tonight isn't exactly Palos".... and you contemplate a kick to his stern.

When we got back from our first cruise, DH and I kept waiting and waiting for someone to bring their crumb tool and brush our table between courses. Darned waiter never showed up!!:(

I also kept waiting for my pina colada to be delivered to my bedroom (aka now as stateroom).

(sniff) So sad. Isn't it amazing how fast we get spoiled???;)

I'll put it in simpler terms............

If you leave the lid open, and you have unsecured items sitting on the sink............ When you flush the toilet..........

THEY ARE GONE!!!

POTTY TRAINING PARENTS........BEWARE!!!!

I KNEW I should've tried harder to get DH to sit on the seat and flush..... ;)

Thank you for the simpler explanation, Patty. I had left my virginity just on top of the sink and - WOOSH - after the first flush it was gone.

I think I should ready the video camera to capture the expression on the first person running from the bathroom. Funniest Home Videos here I come.

Patty YOU ARE TOO FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sure miss ya........If you are online...........Launch you IM.
