I am hoping for 70's bldg I think, but that's only based on the fact that the big wheel is nearby and so are the water fountain things (right?). I was told that the view is ugly (construction of other side of resort) but I don't care a whole lot about that I guess... I care about quiet! Should we hope/ask for a 3rd floor room to avoid noise or the 1st floor for convenience? Are there elevators?

Only 6 days to go!!! :goodvibes

We stayed in the 90s and loved it, just DH and I in a king room and it was very quiet. Our room was on the third floor and it was no problem at all, as there are elevators middle of each building. Loved the big Rubiks Cubes at each end of the buildings too. Our room was on the parking lot side, but the building overlooked the computer pool with the large discs and straight at Roger Rabbit..... :sunny:

We was at the far end of building 1 the very far end. We could walk out thru the luggage dropoff area to front of Classic hall building and get on bus without having to go thru Classic hall.

Between building 1 and 2 there was a bit of an open space and I could see the ugly buildings for the other part of Pop barely I had to look to see them.

We was pool side 4th floor not bad on noise and we could see the back of Lady from our door and the front of Tramp or look down towards building 2 and see the Jukebox.

Not a bad walk to the parking lot either when we needed to get diet cokes or water from van. But we parked in the 60's section rather than the 50's as it was closer to our room.
