Which would you say is the "least popular"/"quietest" of the All Star resorts?

Which All Star resort seems to be the least populated/most quiet?

Of course I realize no Disney resort is all that vacant lol but during a non school break time, of the 3 All Star resorts which would you say would be the least populated and most quiet?

I feel All Star Sports has more of the larger groups than Music or Movies. This is good in that they are on a tighter schedule with less time to congest the pool and food court; also, there are more parking spots when large groups are staying. Time of year is a factor. The large groups from South America in December and January congregate at the resort and cause more disruption for some reason.

Just wanted to mention that The 15s do stay at Sports in large numbers, but Music and Movies CAN see just as large numbers, especially in July.:)

Oh No! We are going in January and staying at Sports. I wasn't aware that there were large tour groups that come at that time of year. Say it isn't so.

The 15's are large groups of 15 year old girls from South America. They travel in large packs to the parks and can be, shall we say, a little "disruptive".
Do a search on this forum and then decide if you want to be at Disney at the same time as them.

ASMu I think is quietest most of the time. One trick is to request to be in Country Fair - the part of the resort FARTHEST from the lobby. My stay last January - I was in ASMu in Broadway - with an AWFUL South American tour group. They said they could move me to that section for the NEXT night - and there wasn't a tour group in that section. (I ended up moving to POFQ instead due to a fabulous cast member who took pity on me.)

But besides that trip - my other two times at ASMu were quiet. Almost eerily quiet, to be honest. I've been at Sports once - i had neighbors that came back loud at night each night - but luckily they settled down pretty quick. And at ASM the one time - I got the family with the crying baby next door. So - I've only got 5 stays to make that commentary - but for my next upcoming All- Stars stay (in January) - I'm back at ASMu again - and plan to request Country Fair section and hope for the best.

But - you really just never know. You can get a crappy noise experience based on your room location in a resort and your neighbors. My second, third, and fourth worst nights at Disney (after the horrible night right by a tour group in ASMu) - were at Jambo House - and that's a deluxe!!!

Ack. Yeah you are going to get blasted staying at Sports in Jan. Those groups are bad enough at the parks. At Sports ohhh no. I would move

We stayed at ASMu over Labor Day in the broadway section facing the woods and felt the same way! It was so quiet and facing the woods (that weren't super well lit) was almost creepy!

We were at All Star Music last year 2nd week in Dec (to avoid pop warner 1st week) and I didn't see any large groups. Anyone know how early in Dec the 15s tend to arrive? We were planning on going around same time this year - only staying in Movies.

I wouldn't. I would request a room on the back side of whatever building you want. And if you really want quiet, ask for the highest floor.

I've had more problems with loud adults and children than I have ever had with any sports group. I find the problems they cause to be waaaaaaay over-stated on the Dis. You can always run into loud people no matter where you stay. The sports groups are not special when it comes to that.

December is not a big month for The 15s.:)

It is possible to see a few groups here and there, but NOTHING like July/January/February.

Nowadays it is possible to see a few SATGs just about ANY month at WDW-we were down for a week last month and saw one group, but have been many times in October and didn't see any-YMMV.

In December,we have only ever seen just a group here and there.

NOW in July,it is PARTY TIME for SATGs-Disney even brings in "Super Greeters"(Brazilian College Students) who speak Portuguese to help "monitor"lol the Groups!lol:)

Thanks for your post. Yikes! July is my birthday month - we used to celebrate it every year in WDW many moons ago - way before these chartered student groups existed. Now we go to the Keys instead. :D

Extreme heat/humidity + ginormous groups of chanting brazilian teens = vacation disaster.:scared1:
