Which would you rope drop/get a FP for at Epcot?

We have two days planned at Epcot. One day we will get a FEA fp. We want to do Soarin and Test Track. Which one would you fastpass and which one would you do at rope drop?

Agree on FP Test Track. Soarin wait times are much better now that there are three screens. TT breaks down often and nothing is more frustrating that going directly to Test Track with plans to enter standby and have it down at that point. The FP will be changed to anytime FP if the attraction goes down during a FP return time. We actually have it the opposite for our upcoming trip though. We plan to eat pre-park opening breakfast in Norway then ride Frozen standby and go to Test Track for standby and have fastpass for Soarin; less walking but don't think it is better as far as wait times.

I would FP TT since it tends to go down a lot sorin has tree theater so not much change all three go down.

Another vote for FP TT. As mentioned, if it goes down, you get an anytime FP.
The line at Soarin' has become shrter since the 3rd theater opened.

Soarin' is pretty easy to hit with not much line at Rope Drop, and depending on how busy the park is, you could conceivably ride it multiple times before the line starts to build up. Test Track I would get FP for, and I would get that FP for a bit after the park opens, say 9:30 - 10:30, or even 10:00 - 11:00 You could pretty much do the entire right side of the park standby at park opening with no real lines for anything, then hit Test Track with your FP.

I always FP TT, and rope drop FEA, even if we have multiple days visiting Epcot.
At rope drop, we can actually get 2 FEA rides before it becomes a 20+ minute wait.

Soarin wait time is not horrible, but also easy to get day of FP for if you look for a few minutes after your third FP.

I'm kind of having the same problem. We have FP for TT but I'm not sure we should walk to Frozen for standby then go standby for Soarin.

Rope drop Soarin, then head over to FEA for standby and then do your TT FP. Or depending on your time...do TT and then FEA.

I'm going to rope drop FEA, meet Anna & Elsa, and then do our TT FP. Had the height thing not been an issue, we would have then walked over to Soarin for standby. After our TT FP we will head toward the Land for that FP and then Figment. I know those don't need FPs, but I just needed two "easy" ones to get to that tier 1 Mickey and Minnie meet and greet.

This one comes up often. To answer your question OP, IMO either one will work about the same. I'd probably FP+ Soarin', but it's personal preference.

Hitting all 3 "big" attractions at Epcot is easy to do within the first hour. You can RD TT, walk to FEA then FP+ Soarin'. Alternatively RD Soarin', walk to FEA and FP+ TT. If you really want to be adventerous and don't mind a bit of a wait, I'll bet you can do TT twice within the first 90 minutes....RD TT, walk to FEA, walk to Soarin' for standby (I'd bet the line is still under 30 minutes), then FP+ TT again.

FP for TT, RD for Soarin. Even without going at RD, we’ve been able to get on in 20 minutes or less at Soarin for our last two visits.
What time did you ride Soarin? We were not able to get FP for TT or Soarin, and want to rope drop TT...just hoping Soarin has a short enough wait to make it worth it for stand-by.

We always do a PPO breakfast at Garden Grill then do Soarin right after the meal on Stand By and do a Fast Pass on Test Track. Never waited more than 15 minutes on Soarin.

We went in August and September and at various times. From park open until about 9:30/ 10 AM was always the shortest wait (maybe 20 minutes) but even at noon we lucked out and it was 30, and then again later in the day it was around 30 minutes or less again. Obviously this can change from day to day so my general advice in your case would be to RD TT, then head over to Soarin'. My best guess is you'd be on Soarin before 10 AM and looking at maybe a 20 minute wait. That early, you're really just waiting for one ride to end so they can load the next 3 theaters. The line moves fairly quickly now that they have 3 theaters.

We FP Soarin (because it is our favorite ride) plus we can single rider the TT.

Thank you! Fingers crossed we can work it off. We’ll be in Epcot in two days.
