Which would you pick?

I'm really having a hard time picking a resort for our October trip. Everytime I think I have my mind made up up a change it for some reason.

Background - This is my 40th birthday trip and I'm looking for things to make it different/special. AKV is our home resort and we love it but want to try something different this time. We spend lots of time in the parks but do utilize the pool in the afternoons. We have stayed at AKV, SSR, OKW, VWL. This trip will be me, DH, and our boys 10 & 12. We will have park hoppers as well as plus options that are only valid this trip (from YES tickets). We will have a rental vehicle and usually drive to all parks except MK. (As for points, the total point difference between the highest and lowest is 45 points so not enough to sway me away from the highest.)

So my thoughts at this moments are (and of course these are all subject to availability)

BLT - 1 BR - Lake View
BCV - 1 BR
OKW - 1 BR
AKV - 1 BR savannah (we have stayed here 4 times so this really isn't new to us)

Hi! I am also planning my 40th birthday trip...going in November!
Our home resort is OKW and after trying different resorts the last few trips I though it would be nice "change" to go back to OKW...I just LOVE it there.
Last year we stayed at BLT and wow...that was awesome!
Looks like you've never stayed there so MY advice would be to try for that!
I haven't stayed at AKL so I can't say anything about that. BCV was beautiful, but aside from being steps away from Epcot there was nothing there that made me feel like I MUST stay there again.
Anyway, I think as long as you're THERE it won't even matter...but I'd try for BLT if you're looking to do something different!

I love OKW for the size of the rooms.

BCV might be hard to get as that is Food & Wine month. But, for that reason I would try for BCV as there will be a lot going on at Epcot. Plus the ease of access to Epcot and DHS is a big bonus. BLT is my home resort and always nice. Do love AKV though!!

I'd go for BCV because of its proximity to 2 of the parks and the Boardwalk. As someone else said, it may be hard to get because of Food & Wine. But it's worth a try.

My 2nd choice would be BLT. I've never stayed there, but I'd love being so close to MK.

Our first choice would be beach club. Second old key west. Third bay lake. We spend half of our time at the resort and pool. So that is always the priority!

Thanks for all the input. We discussed it with the kids last night and came up with a priority ranking.

I'm sure we will be happy with whatever we get
