which would you pick?

My daughter wants to eat with Mickey, Minnie, and Daisy...
Should we go to Chef Mickeys or Tusker house?

Didn't do Tusker House so can't comment. Daisy was not at Chef Mickey's either of our two meals there last week. It was Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto. Meal and service were good. Just no Daisy Duck.

I suppose it depends on who is more important, Daisy (Tusker House) or Minnie (Chef Mickey's). Having been to both, we thought the food was better at Tusker House and the character interaction that we had was better at Chef Mickey's. Overall, we prefer Chef Mickey's.

I would take Tusker House over Chef Mickey's for the food and overall experience, especially for breakfast. Of course, if Minnie is your priority, Chef Mickey's is fun.

Never been to Tusker, so I'll have to say CM. I know Daisy isn't there though, so if she really wants Daisy, Tusker it is.

CM is just pure Disney fun. We always love it.

If you are wanting something a bit different for breakfast, Tusker House has some different breakfast food along with the regular stuff.

As previous posters mentioned Daisy is at TH and Minnie is at CM.

We really enjoyed Chef Mickey's in February. One of the best characters meals we have ever had in WDW!

We love Chef Mickeys breakfast but I hear that TH is very similar to Boma and that is our all time favorite place for breakfast!

Wow tough decision. Both are good for different reasons. I would have difficulty picking just one.
It would depend on who is more important Daisy or Minnie.
Our breakfast at Tusker House was the only time we saw Daisy. Minnie was available in Camp Minnie Mickey as well as othe rmeals or MK.

Tusker House: good food, great service, characters in great costumes, average character interaction, Being in AK early morning was the best part!

CM: ok food, ok service, average character interaction, riding in the front of the monorail after the meal was great!

CM had always been a last day celebration meal for us.

But to be honest I think after our last trip TH would win out if I had to pick only one!

If you can only do one meal, then you'll have to prioritize which characters are more important to DD. At Tusker, you get Daisy, Mickey, Donald and Goofy, all are wearing safari clothing and hats. At Chef Mickey, you get Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto wearing chef's aprons and hats. You might want to show your DD some pictures of the characters and see which ones she likes better (we did both meals, see my oct trip report link for lots of pictures).

They both offer buffets and the food is pretty decent. Tusker's atmosphere has dark wood chairs/tables, with animal pictures on walls. The characters lead a parade every 15 minutes and pass out musical instruments. Chef Mickey's has a more lively feel with red/black/white colorings. Every 15 minutes they wave the napkins around and dance.

Both places are great, just need to prioritize the characters for your family. Have fun!!

I will try for Tusker house because she really wants to see Daisy and I know we will see Minnie a million other places. I also really love the idea of getting into AK early!!
