Which would you pick - WL or Poly?

I was underwhlemed by WL, it was nice but didn't make me fall in love, so I would probably try Poly.

I have to agree with "Crazy for the Dis". We stayed at the Poly in June and we're so disappointed we moved to the Wilderness Lodge! The rooms are bigger at the Poly but even refurbished not worth what they charge. There is a difference between reburbished and remodeled. It's the same old room with a coat of paint and a better tv. The bathrooms and air conditioning system are ancient. I love the relaxed feeling of the WL. There was never a shortage of lounge chairs at the pool the rooms have also had updates (new tvs just like the Poly) and the one building thing is a plus.

That really depends on your family. You have received several posts on the two and now bottom line is what matters most to make your vacation the most memorable for all of you. You are going at the Christmas season, so is your memories going to be most favorable with the decorations? Or will it be having EASY transportation at your fingertips? The WL gets our vote for being immersed in Christmas decorations and MOOD for the holiday and the POLY will probably be most favorable if you are wanting a resort for transportation convenience. We hope you have a GREAT vacation whichever you choose!
