Le Cellier

Chefs de France

Garden Grill

I have a Le Cellier ADR made, but after looking at the menu I'm left unimpressed. The Chefs de France menu looks wonderful - especially the "deal" with the soup, entree and creme brulee dessert for $26.00! And GG's menu looks good, too.

Oh, decisions!

I haven't tried Le Cellier or Garden Grill so I can't comment on those 2.
But I love Chefs de France :thumbsup2 The food, service and atmosphere were great! I would definately eat there again.

I haven't tried the Garden Grill yet. But I LOVE both Le Cellier and Chef De France. Le Cellier is a great steak place. Like most steak places they have a smaller menu, but the food is excellent. The cheese soup, the pretzel bread, the filet, the creme brulee. OK it's too close to dinner time.

Chef de France has fantastic onion soup, and I love the Alsace Tart. Had that as lunch last year. My friend and I really should have split the tart.

Good luck making your choice.

Kim

DH and I didn't like the musky damp smell in Le Cellier and neither of us enjoyed our food. DH said his steak was no better than one from the family type chain steak houses and the salmon dish I ordered was too mushy (nearly raw) to eat. We won't return despite the rave reviews we hear. The better choice, in our opinion, would be Chefs de France. :teeth:

another vote for chefs. wonderful meal and service.

I like both Le Cellier and Chefs de France. Are you going with the whole family? If so, Garden Grill might be the best choice. If it is just you and DH, I'd pick Chefs de France. Not because the food is better, because I think both WS restaurants are comparable, but the atmosphere is nicer. pooh:

Haven't tried Garden Grill, but can totally recommend either Le Cellier or Chefs de France. The problem with picking one over the other is that they're quite different. Le Cellier is a smaller and more intimate "steakhouse" atmosphere. It's dark and kind of quiet. The food is exceptional, though; and the service has always been fantastic (very friendly and personal). As mentioned before, the cheese soup and pretzel bread is to die for. They also have a nice selection of wines, spirits, and desserts.

Chefs de France is more of a typical bistro atmosphere. The waiters are always rushing around, it's fairly noisy, and very crowded-feeling. Don't get me wrong, though. The service still is very good, just a different feeling than in Canada. The food is great; probably some of the best you'll find in Epcot. The only thing that's ever disappointed me here was the escargot one year. Last year, though, it was excellent again. The french onion soup is also delicious.

Cheers,
MG

my fam and i havent tried canada but we LUV garden grill, alfredos(italy), japan and we are trying canada in about 45 days i cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely love Le Cellier. I love the filet mignon and mashed potatoes, and the cheddar cheese soup is outstanding.

I did not care for Chefs de France at all. I thought the portions were small, the food was mediocre at best, and the service was horrible.

DH does not favor the steaks at either Chefs de France or Le Cellier, and we've never been to the Garden Grill, but I vote for Chefs de France! It's a very bright, pretty, fun restaurant.

We ate at Le Cellier on Wed. night and it was pretty good....I think I just made a poor selection with the New York. Wife loved the mushroom mignon. Service was the best we had.

We hated Garden Grill and were not impressed at all last Sept. We LOVED LeCelier and will return here in May. I think it may be our favorite place to eat now.
