Which would you get at 50's Prime Time?

We're going to the Prime TIme Cafe for the first time next week, and because I'm hungry I'm trying to make up my mind what I'm going to order everywhere we're going. Would you get the pot roast or the fried chicken?

Fried Chicken hands down. Now I don't know which desert.

I don't eat meat with bone in it, so I'm voting for the pot roast. I've actually eaten the pot roast and it is very good.

I had the meatloaf in June ( i know it wasn't one of your choices;)) and I thought it was very good. That being said, we are going back for lunch there in Dec and I am definately ordering the fried chicken. :)

I have been dreaming about the fried chicken since our trip in July. :cloud9: I can't wait to have it when we return in March. Although many other things, including the pot roast, look good, I'm afraid that I'll miss the chicken if I order something else.

I have had both, and they are both really good, you can't go wrong either way. If I had to choose between the two I would choose the pot roast, though.

Yah another vote for the pot roast here... I have an ADR there without the dining plan my next trip just for the PB&J shake and the potroast! SOOO GOOOD~!:goodvibes

the fried chicken, is it on the bone?

We are going in December. I am very interested in this thread. My choices are pot roast, fried chicken, or meatloaf. meatloaf is now crossed off my list.

I can vouch for the fried chicken! It's on the bone and yummy. Love it with mashed spuds and greens. Ummm....can you tell I'm from the South:goodvibes

I've had both and now every time I go I get the pot roast. It is absolutely delicious. Recommend it to all of our friends/family heading to the World :thumbsup2

Guess what??? I am from N. Kentucky too!!!!!!! "Blue" Country if that means anything to you.

I have eaten here for Lunch as well as Dinner numerous times. Everything I've had has been out of this world delicious! Here are a few of my recommendations.

Lunch
Cousin Eric's Char-grilled Chicken Sandwich - marinated chicken breast topped with cheddar, grilled onions, barbeque sauce, lettuce and tomato on a Kaiser roll, with a house salad or french fries

Aunt Liz's Golden Fried Chicken - served with mashed potatoes, chicken gravy and southern greens

Caesar Salad with Chicken - Romaine lettuce tossed with Caesar dressing, grated parmesan cheese, garlic croutons topped with sliced grilled chicken $12.99; Also available with salmon (I myself prefer the salmon, its warm and delicious)

Roasted Pepper - stuffed with whole grains and smoked ratatouille

Dinner

Again the fried chicken

Olive Oil Poached Salmon - served with sweet peas, brown rice pilaf, and a dill cream sauce

Dad's Traditional Meatloaf - a blend of beef and pork topped with tomato glaze, mashed potatoes, and green beans

I would say the breaded chicken. You got a LOT of food with that dish and it's all white meat. I got the meatloaf and it wasn't as good as mine but close. I thought about pot roast and none of us did get it so it might have been really good. I would just go with the chicken.

I wish I was there too :(

Sorry but it's NOT all white meat!! I've had it twice now, once just last week. It's a HUGE serving consisting of a breast, thigh, leg, and wing. I thought I had made up my mind to try the pot roast but just couldn't resist that yummy chicken again!!

I've had both the pot roast and fried chicken. Both of them are very very good, but the fried chicken is out of this world. I will probably get the fried chicken when we go in Dec. Mmmmm I can taste it now!

Love the fried chicken! Oh, and if you don't like the "greens" that come with it, just ask for corn, its all so good.

I always get the pot roast!! YUM

I'm getting the fried chicken.

And seeing as how I LOVE greens, I'm getting them. I just wish I had some bread and butter pickles to go with them. . .

A little OT but "Hi neighbor"! I just logged on to check the 10 day forecast. We leave on Sunday morning for our next sojourne to WDW (with a side of Seaworld thrown in). :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Oh..and GO BIG BLUE:banana::cheer2::banana::cheer2:

We love their fried chicken and they give you sooooo much! If they tell you that you have to eat it all before you can have dessert, it ain't gonna happen! Good thing they don't hold you to it! It really is delicious.

I am a huge fan of the pot roast, so that would be my vote. I had it on our trip earlier this year, and will have it the next time we go to WDW.
