I am torn between whether to do Crystal Palace for breakfast on MK day (early reservation) and then Akershus on our Epcot day (to satisfy the princess thing) or to do 1900 Park Fare for dinner on our MK day (to satisfy the princess thing) and replace Akershus with a different World restaurant. What do you think???

Personally I would do breakfast at CP. Getting into MK early is always a plus. Besides...puffed french toast...do I need to say more?? LOL ;)

I would then do 1900 Parkfare for dinner and satisfy the princess interaction. Epcot has so many great restauransts I would something other than Akersaus.

Some suggestions here are Coral Reef, San Angel Inn or La Hacinenda...mmm those would be my choices.

I agree about eating at CP for breakfast, however I disagree about eating at 1900 Park Fare. We personally love Akershus and if you can get an ADR for before the park opens, that is a bonus :goodvibes. Don't get me wrong, we do like 1900 Park Fare, but if you want to satisfy the princess thing, the only princess you will see there is Cinderella...of course the Prince and the Tremains are there, but no other Princesses. At Akershus you will get Belle greeting at the Door which you will also get a picture with that is included in the dining price, then coming around to the table will be 4 other Princesses. These are subject to change of course but the last 2 times that we ate there we had Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Ariel. Have a great time :goodvibes

I say go with CP and Akershus for breakfast

Unless your chillins are totally into Cinderella, I'd go with Akershus. First because you get more Princesses, but also because it seems to me the food gets better reviews than the other two. Although of course that's looking at is as a character buffet -- you're looking at it as an Epcot restaurant, where it may not come off as well. ;)

Also, it just seems to me the people who get the most out of the 1900 Park Fare thing are those who really enjoy the sisters and those who are into the Prince thing, rather than those who're seriously into the Princess aspect. Maybe the question is, would your kids get more of a kick out of multi princesses, or out of a Princess with her Prince?

I say go with CP and Akershus for breakfast

:thumbsup2

This is really good advice! I would do the same.

Epcot has some WONDERFUL counterservice locations and you can try so many different types of food. It would be fun to do the big breakfast at Akershus, and then, sample everything as you tour World Showcase!

Plus, early entry to Crystal Palace and the Magic Kingdom is GOLD!

Thanks everyone! My original plan was CP breakfast and Akershus breakfast but I started second guessing myself. I should have added that we will be there during Food and Wine which probably supports the Akershus for breakfast plan as well. We can then sample for the rest of the day! I think I will stick with the original plan but if anyone else wants to offer up an opinion, please do!!!

Be careful w/ those early breakfast ADRs. WDW has been adding morning hours to MK on all of the weekends and your pre-RD ADR may turn into an hour of missing the best touring time.
