Which would you do?

Hoping for some help!

We have 3 days at the World in May and cannot add an additional day due to prior committments. We have already bought 3 day tickets, no park hopper option. It will just be DH and I, no children.

We had initially planned to visit AK, MGM and Epcot for one day each. Now we are debating if we should do MK instead of MGM on one day. DH is afraid there won't be anything for us as an adult couple to do at MK and thinks MGM is a better option. We do enjoy thrill rides and shows.

If you were us, which would you choose? Thanks for your help!

I'd leave out AK actually-if you have a zoo at home, then its not such a big loss, plus its the only park with no night-time spectacular show. If you've never done WDW before then you must do MK-Big Thunder mountain, Splash Mountain,Space mountain, Pirates and Haunted mansion are all"Big Kids" rides plus you have Wishes and Spectromagic. If you like thrill rides you cannot miss MGM-WDW's two biggest are there.

We have been to WDW before but it was about 6 years ago now. DH loves AK so that's why we cannot leave that one out and we would like to ride Everest. I love Epcot so can't leave that one out. It's a toss up for us between MK and MGM.

Unless AK is your favorite- I would leave that one out. (Although riding EE would be a draw right now).

Sorry you have to make that decision! :sad2:

In that case I would decided which to go to by the evening shows- Wishes or Fantasmic. Can't help you there as I love both of them!

IMO leave out MGM and do MK. The additonal things to see and do at the MK more than outweigh the loss of TOT and RRC at MGM.
Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain will be as, if not more, enjoyable to you.
I think that your day would be more fulfilled at MK.
Personally I think you should purchase the Hopper addition and go to all the parks over the three days. Afterall, AK will close at 5pm, and MGM's ToT, RRC and other attractions could be done in half a day.

Whatever you decide, have a great time/

:wizard: :wizard: :thumbsup2

I go anywhere the new stuff is...
not sure of the last time you went but...
Your plan of AK, MGM and Epcot sounds good to me.

I originally thought that AK would be the park to leave out -- but we ended up enjoying it so much that we ended up knocking out MGM during our last stay and going for 2 days. I LOVE MK -- that is where the magic is after all. So I would knock out MGM. JMHO

Between MGM and MK, I would pick MK. But *I* would actually skip AK. It closes so early and if I was only going to be there 3 days I would want to maximize my park time.

I wouldn't cut of AK if you love thrill rides don't forget about the new Expedition Everest!! And I personally think it's more than a zoo. I like the pace of the park it isn't as stressful as MK.

You all have been very helpful. We are leaning towards keeping MGM but you know that can always change!

upgrading would be the best way to go you can do mgm and ak in the same day.
