I need a dinner place in downtown disney.
it has to be kid friendly in the sense that my kids do not like any type of fancy food. They are basic meat and potato type kids.

mac & cheese, sandwiches, chicken, etc.

So I am wondering would you pick the new T--Rex place or Planet Hollywood or Hardrock Cafe?

(we already have plans for rainforest cafe eariler in the week)

Also One more "dumb" question..

You don't need a special ticket to enter downtown disney do you? (as in theme park ticket)

Hi,

No, you do not need any kind of ticket to enter DTD.

As for choosing a restaurant, here is a link to the menus at all DTD restaurants. Since you knwo your kids better than anyone else, why not have a look at the menus and pick something that will appeal to them.

Enjoy your trip!

I think T-Rex sounds fun....but I wouldn't step foot in there without also planning to build a dino!!

Earl of Sandwich is great for counter service.

Yes, Earl of Sandwich is great- we go there every year! The Wolfgang Puck restaurant is good, too and very kid-friendly.

In Sept. we ate at Wofgang Puck Express twice, we liked it that much. :) It was my DM69, DD9, and myself. Food was good and plentiful. If the weather is good you can eat outside. We ate at the one by DQ.

Don't overlook Raglan Road ( but check the kid menu as I am not familiar with it )

The food is fantastic and if you catch the show - WOW!

personally, i would suggest going to planet hollywood...t-rex would have the food you are looking for, but because you already have plans for rainforest (which would have been my orginal suggestion) and the food at t-rex and rainforest are really similar, i would go for something different...just my two cents...
