Which would you choose??

If you had to choose between going early to mid December or mid to late January, what would you choose? We'll have our 2.5 year old ds with us, and the less crowded the parks are, the better.

I personally would choose early-mid December. The crowds were not crowded, you could move around and not wait in long lines and you can see all the holiday decorations. We went the first week of December last year and loved it. We would have gone back early December this year but I had to move our trip up a couple of months.

If the crowds are your sole concern, then January is the better time to go, though neither time is crowded. December attracts more people because of Christmas fun and the vacation club meetings are going on.

We went in January of 02 and crowds were lighter than any other time we have ever been there(with the exception of right after 9-11). Have a great trip

Were were there this past Jan. The weather was 36 degrees at times..but we walked on to every single ride. Especially the water rides If crowds is your biggest concern..I would go then, but if you go in December you would have the opportunity to participate in the Christms festivites..which would be a hoot. Good luck with your decision.

I would definitely choose early-mid December. The crowds probably won't be too much different (than January) but seeing WDW all lit up for Christmas and the holidays is outstanding. The decorations and festivities are incredible and are worth making a trip to see if you haven't. You won't be disappointed..............

Thanks guys! We decided on December (even if the crowds are bigger) so we can enjoy all the Christmas decorations and such. We'll be there 12/12 - 12/19... I can't wait!
