Hi we have a one day ticket and two nights at Disney, would you choose to stay in sequoia lodge and be on a budget, or choose Santa fe or the Cheyenne and then be able to afford a character meal at inventions?

Freddy

for one or 2 nights its a no-brainer for me - it would be the cheaper hotel and more spends in the parks :goodvibes.

Santa Fe or Cheyenne and as you're staying 2 nights I'd spend the money on an extra days tickets.

I'd also go with a cheaper hotel.

And I much prefer the Cheyenne over the Santa Fe. Unless your family is 'Cars' mad, the Cheyenne is a nicer hotel (IMO!).

Is it? I have two small girls, so not really into cars. And are either of these hotels better for a non meat eater who eats fish?

I think someone mentioned one of them also had the cheapest bar in Disneyland, which was that ;)

Thanks for the replies, it does sound like a no brainer now, but the background was that out of all the Disneyland hotels I had always had my heart set on sequoia lodge (bearing in mind I've never set foot in any of them)

Drinks will be cheaper at the Santa Fe and they are most expensive at the Disneyland Hotel.

Regardless of where you're staying you can visit any of the hotels for a drink, a meal or just a general wander round. :goodvibes

If you like seafood there's always a magnificent array at Inventions, there was also quite a nice selection at Cape Cod at Newport Bay when we ate there this summer.

I think so.

The buildings are much nicer to look at, the theme is better and I prefer the room layout. Having bunk-beds instead of an extra double gives the kids their own bed and also means there's a little more floor space.

I just booked the Cheyenne I am so excited!

It was 129 for two nights with 10% cash back, and my two vouchers from the sun, one of which has already been booked are only 14.50 each so I think that's a real bargain!

Thanks for all the advice!
