Kona Cafe or LeCellier?

and

Shula's or California Grill?

for a family of 4 - two adults and two children both 11 years old

Le Cellier...hands down!

Ate at Cali Grill last Nov and loved it...never eaten at Shula's so I can't compare...but was not disappointed w/ Cali Grill.... :)

I like both equally Kona and LeCellier Completely different food though.

Never been to Shula's but have read good things about it. I do like Cali Grill but do find it very busy and nosey. There are a few spots over to the far right that are a little more quieter.

was thrilled with lecellier but have never been to kona.

hands down shula's over cali grill. especially if your a family who likes football. but even if not the food is over the top.

We did Kona for breakfast and LeCellier for lunch. We enjoyed both, but I'd definitely pick LeCellier to do again.

I've never done Shula's or CG, but I'd pick CG.

Have a great trip!

Never been to Kona, but I love Le Cellier.

As for Shula's vs California Grill, I think you should look over the menus with your kids and see if their is anything at Cali Grill they would eat. If so, go there. After all, there is on one Cali Grill. There's a Shula's of some sort in every major metro area in the US.

Last May was our first Disney trip so we're far from experts. I obsessively read here about the restaurants, reviews, etc and felt lucky to get all of our preferred restaurants.

Le Cellier was our least favorite dining experience but I know it gets many positive reviews. Hopefully it was just a very very off night that began badly and ended with the server dropping a wine glass on DH's chair & shattering it along his back.

Based only on our experience we would choose Kona w/o question over Le Cellier. I was concerned about Kona when I called to change a dinner reservation from Ohana to Kona. When the CM asked "are you sure about that change" I second guessed myself for about a minute. Kona was one of our favorite meals & dining experiences. It was a little nosier than other restaurants but I expected noise at Disney!lol

We did dine at the California Grill and loved the restaurant!! Our DSs were 6 & 9 at the time and enjoyed it, too. Our table was one of the best in the restaurant, I think. We had a full view of the castle behind us which was beautiful after dark.

Tutto Italia ranked at the top of our boys' favorite list.

I like Kona cafe a lot, I would choose that over le cellier. Although I do like le cellier. But to me the steaks are just okay.
I haven't been to Shula's but Cali grill is my favorite restaurant in Disney. it is excellent for food & service. Its a must do every trip.

My husband and I ate at 3 out of the 4 you list on our last trip, May 8-15. It is hard to pick between LeCellier and Kona because the food is so different. If I simply had to pick which I would want to go back to if I *had* to choose, I would probably say LeCellier. But I definitely wouldn't be disappointed to go back to Kona either. But I did like dessert better at Kona.

Never been to Schula's, but California Grill was my favorite meal of our trip. The view was amazing, the service was great, and the food was some of the best we've ever had, anywhere. But from what I've read, again, I don't think you could go wrong with either.

Good luck! :thumbsup2
