Ohana or Spoodles?

We are looking for a place for dinner for our anniversary. We will just be arriving that day and won't be going to any parks. Currently we have reservations for Ohana. We have eaten here before and really enjoyed it. We also checked out the menu for Spoodles and like the idea of hanging out at the Boardwalk afterwards. Anyway, we really need help to decide where to go. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds good to me,have a magical time :goodvibes :thumbsup2

'Ohana's

We did this on our arriving day last January. I was a couples only vacation so we really enjoyed this. We did not visit a park either on our arriving day.

After dinner, we went to the Poly beach to watch Wishes and took the boat back to MK where we caught a bus back to our resort.

As we were walking to our bus stop, we could see Mickey wishing a good night to everyone leaving from the railroad station. Really a beautiful beginning to a vacation.

If you go to Spoodle's then you could take in the dueling piano's at Jelly Rolls. Or maybe have an after dinner drink at the bar in Blue Zoo at the Dolphin, really great/beautiful atmosphere.

I guess it is up to what are you interested.

Tough choice. I did both in January and loved them... but with young children. I think I would suggest Spoodles because it's more about the atmosphere and less about eating until you are stuffed. After you can enjoy a nice evening on the boardwalk - my favorite evening place in all of the "world".

I would suggest that if you are going for an anniversary dinner and you were going to the boardwalk area the place to go would be Flying Fish which I think is better than Spoodles have not done Ohana so I cant really judge them but hopes that helps a little

Ohana is a beautiful restaurant, but isn't it a bit hectic to celebrate a romantic anniversary? A quick toast of your TapuTapus as the coconut racers go by in a roar? An anniversary is a time to escape from the coconut racers!

If I took my lady to Ohana for our anniversary, I fear it would be our last.

If you like the atmosphere of the Poly, how about the Kona Cafe? Great food, and very quiet!

We agree, and don't forget the hoola-hoop contests for the kids! Probably not the best choice for a romantic meal.
