Which would you choose for the 60th: World of Color or Paint the Night?

Let me start by saying that I prefer the new WOC to the original. I know I'm in the minority here but I thought it was great. Cried numerous times during the show. That being said I will still choose PTN if I had to choose just one, especially with little kids. THey wont be as "in" to the WOC I dont think. But the PTN will totally grab their attention!

The new WoC was my least favorite of the new shows unveiled for the 60th, and PTN was my favorite. And I think PPers have amply pointed out that PTN is probably much more kid-friendly.

That being said, I would speculate that PTN will be around a lot longer than the 60th-anniversary WoC. They've already had 3 different versions in just the few years its been open (which is great). So if you really want to see it, you might consider sneaking off one night by yourself.

We just saw WOC with our two boys who are 4 and 6 and they loved it!!

I know... why am I even asking this question?!? It's the 60th anniversary!

However, my husband hates waiting for shows, parades- all the good stuff… So, he's "compromising" & says we can do 1 big show/parade. We have 2 girls 4 & 6- so it would be hard to do late night shows. Which one is better for little girls? We’ll be there Sun 11/29 – 12/1 Tues.

For those who have seen both... Which would you pick – Paint the Night or World of Color? and WHY?

PTN for sure!!! My 7 year old adored PTN and was a little bored with WOC. I loved PTN more as well. It is wonderful!
