Chef Mickey's or Cape May cafe for breakfast.. which one do you prefer? why?
Thanks

We love them both but I think we would go with Cape May because it is quieter and I love the bread pudding and DH is a huge fan of the bicuits and gravy.

But...you cannot go wrong with either choice :thumbsup2

I also love them both, but have to say for food, Cape May is better. And it is much quieter. It still a fun atmosphere but not on the same pace and level that Chef Mickey's is. I also like the biscuits and gravy at Cape May (although they aren't the real thing so anyone reading this from Texas don't get too excited) and I think the fruit at Cape May is the best of any buffet I have eaten at.

You can't go wrong with either really.

We have stayed in both Beach Club and the Contemporary and have enjoyed both restaurants. We preferred Cape May because it has a better variety. They put a huge piece of paper over the entire table. The characters colored with our girls and just seemed like they were not hurried like in Chef Mickey's. I love their cute beach outfits too. Another bonus is the proximity to the parks. Epcot is a short walk and you would enter through the International Gateway - UK and France. The boats (by the lighthouse) can take you to DHS, very quick ride. The Boardwalk is also nice to walk around. If my family were making this decision it would come down to the menu and what we were doing that day (like which park).

No ? for me & my family Love Chef Mickey's it gives you that great Disney feeling eating here. LOVE THIS PLACE.:worship::worship::worship::worship:
Cape May- is good to and quiet.

Cape May Cafe -- better food, less crowded and better character interaction

Thanks so much for offering your experience. I really appreciate it. We got a 7:30 ADR for cape may on our epcot day. We are staying at pop, what would be the best way to get to cape may from pop at 7am? Would it be easiest to just drive our car?

Personally, I would drive. I think Beach Club will give you a three hour parking pass, so you may have to drive to the Epcot lot vs just going in through the IG, but I think you will be able to leave POP much later to get there on time.

Plus, if it is crowded, going in through the front, I think, gives a better advantage to hitting Soarin' or Test Track first. Even when I stay at Beach Club, I still drive over to the front lot if I am going to Epcot 1st thing in the AM.

We like both, but are par to Cape May. We found the breakfast food to be better (Another vote for Biscuits and Gravy!:cool1:).
