Need your opinions Dis friends....

We have decided to only hit the parks for 3 of our 8 days at WDW this August (doing things a little differently this year - more pool days and waterpark days...more relaxation!). We've already decided that we'll hit the MK twice, so that leaves us with 1 more park day to plan. Which park to hit? Epcot, DHS or AK??!! I can't decide!

We are a family of 4, 2 kiddos ages 3 and almost 5 at trip time. We've never taken the kids to AK, but I'm not sure how much they'll like it. We don't park hop, so that's not an option.

Where would you go?? :confused3 Opinions? Comments? Would love to hear your thoughts!! :thumbsup2

It really depends on your family. AK is a must do for us, as we ALL love animals. It was DS's fave park when we went last Fall (he was 21mos). This is simply not the case for many families/kids though.

Although I loved it, DH and other family members can take or leave DHS, it's a not miss for others

My DD7, was 5 her first time and she just loved MGM, now DHS. I loved it too. We were not to fond of Epcot, and AK was OK, but we really liked DHS. Just my 2 cents. Have fun which ever park you choose.

I cant help you much. I love all the parks so much that I told my family I would go to Disney for a MINIMUM of four days, one for each park. I dont hop either. But if I only had three days, only one would be an MK day and I would still try to extend the vacation to get a fourth day, one for each park.

1st choice - DHS
2nd choice - AK
3rd Choice - Epcot

This was a very difficult vote! DHS gets my #1 pick because you can see/do just about everything in one day if you really wanted to. They have the new Block Party Bash which is a must see if you haven't done it yet (Just went last Monday... it was awesome!).

We LOVE Epcot!! If we don't go to Epcot, it kinda feels like we didn't do Disney right. We also have 2 kids and even though Epcot might seem not kid-friendly, my kids really like it.
AK would come second for me, simply because I love all the shows there. And the animals are nice as well. We have a zoo close by, and so animals aren't #1 on our list.
HS is one that we are iffy on as well. My kids are too young for the thrill rides, and I always feel like there's not a lot to do there. But in our upcoming trip, we will most definently be going there b/c my boys are Toy Story fanatics, and there is a new ride there called Toy Story Mania.
It might be worth your while (time-wise) to look into hoppers. Because you could do AK in the am, and HS in the evening to see Fantasmic. That is usually the way we do it.

Bingo! Animal Kingdom is just so hot and spread out and there are no rides at DHS for lil ones.

Ditto, mostly. I would go to Epcot. Our family does love the animals, so even with a great zoo nearby, we still love the AK. We like AK for the animals and the detail of the park, not the shows, though. If your kids are crazy about the animals, I might pick that over Epcot. And I'm not a fan of DHS (for me or the kids). For what your kids will enjoy at DHS, it would be a short day.
