Which would you choose and Why? Movies or Pop?

We're staying at Movies because my son LOVES Toy Story...and well they don't have a giant Buzz & Woody at Pop!!

Movies= movies.

Pop= im young and have no clue what half the stuff is from the 70s.

I don't think you can make a wrong choice,I love both resorts! However, I picked Pop not because I think it is so much better than Movies but it is newer. The All Stars are wonderful! But Movies is the only one not to have a refurb yet of its rooms. They are the older style rooms still with the smaller tv and older furniture style. Once Movies gets its refurb (and I am sure it will) then that will make it my first pick for a value.

Now if you had asked between Music and Pop I would have picked Music since its refurb is totally done. Sports I think is mostly done with theirs.

In the end however, its about the theming. If you have a member of your family that loves Buzz and Woody, 101 Dalmations or one of the other themes Movies has then that is the one you should in all liklihood go for! If its all about Jungle Book or Lady and the Tramp, then go with Pop.

The rooms at all the values are identical in size and amenities, the food courts and busses at all the values are equal in my book. Right now I just think that until Movies rooms get some new touches its my final pick. But its still a wonderful resort. And heck, I am not following my own advice, we are staying at Movies for one night in October so clearly I am not too worried about the non refurbed aspect!

We have stayed at Movies twice and stayed at POP last year. I would choose POP again because of the bus factor. It seemed like we got to the parks way quicker, with the exception of AK. I felt like I was more in the middle of Disney property than at Movies.
You will have a great time at whichever resort that you choose.

We stayed at both and I like the POP theme better and you dont have to share buses with the Sport or Music

Actually stayed at both and would do so again. Liked the movies pool a bit better but POp was newer and better Bus service.

I choose Pop for the frozen Coke machine alone...when its working!

I picked POP because it's got a little bit of movies too.

I picked movies because I like to go strolling through other resorts and I could walk to Sport and Music. I'm like also check out the different items at different gift shops. I know, weird reason, but it works for me.

after staying at all the all star resorts and pop, my vote is pop!! we love pop so much better. i love how it is newer and bigger than the others. i love walking around and listening to the different ages of music. the bus service is better too.

I enjoyed POP..great counter service area, great pool area (60's)...our room had a view of the little lake, if you will, not bad for a value!
Nice path around "lake" ....We never had any issues with transportation....CM's were great...
Never stayed at Movies so I cant give an opinion

I actually can't choose just one. It really depends on the circumstances.

When planning my trips with my boyfriend (now currently ex), I would always book Pop. This is because the odds of us getting a king bed are far greater at Pop than at any of the AllStars.

Other than that, I actually like Movies better. But actually after seeing the new rooms at Music, I think I like that better.

Pop - it's the newest, has a lakeside walking path, nicer food court, scenic unfinished resort as a view option.....

oh - and it doesn't share busses!

I would choose Movies because we have never been there and it looks cool. I really love POP, though.

Ditto to POP because of the bus factor. I've stayed in both and I much preferred POP ... but I'm more interested in the theming of POP as well. Have fun!

POP is better laid-out and has not one, not two, but three pools. It really makes a difference.
