On Tuesday Nov. 12th we plan on spending the day at EPCOT and then going over to MK to be able to see the 6:15pm fireworks. I am wondering would it be faster to take the monorail from EPCOT to TTC and catch the MK monorail or take our car and DRIVE from EPCOT to TTC and take the MK monorail??

Thanks:D :D

P.S. Just to add - I'm HAPPY about EE returning too!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

If you get a good parking space at both parks I think it would be faster to drive but that could be a big if. It only takes 15 minutes on the monrail from TTc to Epcot. at night they are running monorails fairly regularly between the park and TTC.

Another option--leave Epcot from International Gateway and take a bus from the Boardwalk or Yacht Club directly to Magic Kingdom.

I can guarantee you that it will be MUCH quicker to take the Monorail to the TTC, and then transfer to the MK monorail...

The Epcot trains come every 5 minutes, and it's an 8 minute ride. MK Trains come every 3 minutes, and it's a 5 minute ride. Add in walk time, and whatnot... 25 mins.

If you drive... you will have to walk out to your car, find the car, wait for the A/C to cool it down, then find your way out and head towards the MK. It's about a 10 minute drive to the MK Toll Plaza. From there, you will need to find a parking space, and either walk to the TTC, or wait for the Tram. And then you'll still need to take the MK monorail. You're talking about approx 45 minutes...

Didn't realize the monorails came that often. Guess when your waiting, might seem longer. Thanks for the details. Looks like we will be taking the monorail all the way.

During peak times, the Express monorail operates very quickly. The train enters the station, and is in the station for 60-75 seconds. When it leaves, the next train enters only 60-75 seconds later.

Time always feels like double what it actually is, when you're waiting for something. The perfect example is waiting for the bus. It feels like it's been 20+ minutes, but it's only been 10...
