Which would be cheaper?......

My parents have booked their cruise today. Yah I am so happy b/c now there are 5 groups going to WDW and DCL in Oct. the catch is that they do not want to pay for a CAT 6. They want an 11 but the rest of us our in a 6. I would like to sneak and upgrade them but I need to know what is the better price....

They would be happy in their CAT 11 stateroom so would we be able to just upgrade their resort to the POLY? Has anyone done this and is it cost effective? Is is better to just pay for the Cat 6. (BTW, it is a $900 difference that way.) Has anyone upgrades their resort?

I upgraded from an 11 to a 6 in Feb. of 2000 on our first land/sea Carribean Beach was our resort. We stayed there and upgraded to a verandah for 100.00 per person 6 weeks out....the odds of a less expensive upgrade IS after the 60 "final pay" is due.....

Thank you for your reply. Actually we want to do the opposite of what you did. I think they'll keep the Cat 11 room on the ship but they want to upgrade the hotel part. Do you think this is possible as well as what you did? Thanks again!
