We are probably doing 11 nights with reg DP in Sept. First night we will get there too late to use any meal credits. Looks like we will have to pay OOP 142 for Hoop De Doo or OOP for 2 separate meals (1 being the breakfast). Here is all we are planng:

Cape May breakfast
Lunch:
Le Cellier
Coral Reef (may change to dinner)
Dinners:
Hoop De Doo
Teppan edo
Mama Melrose FDP
Cape May
Crystal Palace
Boma
Chef Mickey's
Princess Storybook
Ohana

I looked at the menus site, and it looks like Le Cellier would be cheapest...but that doesn't sound right to me.

Without checking the prices, I would think that your breakfast would be the cheapest, it usually is. Did you check?

I would definitely pay for the breakfast buffet out of pocket. They are usually the least expensive dining experience. Do you still need one more suggestion?

In most cases breakfast is the least expensive meal and dinner tends to be most expensive, leaving lunch in the middle. In the past when I have used the DDP, I always found it to be most cost effective to pay for any breakfasts and signatures OOP. Since you have no signatures, I would pay for your breakfast and a lunch OOP.

I checked prices, but I think some of the prices listed are off. Hoop De Doo would definetly be 142 because I got that from the official site. Cape May breakfast looks like 67+tip for 2A, 1C. Next cheapest per the unofficial menus are Le Cellier lunch, but that didn't seem accurate to me, since I thought that one was more expensive? Need to pay for 2 TS credits somewhere.

Aren't the breakfast buffets around $19 pp? We have always done the dining plan so I am not 100% sure...but I think so. ;)

No, Breakfast buffets are more money when you add character's into it. Cape May is a character breakfast which for adults I believe it is $26.99+depending when you go for adults. $12.99/child again depending when you go.
