Going with DH and two kids during free dining. Have been to Disney several times but never done the World Showcase. We are hoping to make it a priority this time. What restaurants would you recommend. We are considering Le Cellier, Les Chef de France, Teppanyaki, and L'Originale Alfredo. We can only do two, and want good food but also the best experience and atmosphere. Thanks so much.

We have definitley enjoyed the food at LeCellier, Alfredo's and Les Chefs de France. I am not sure that they have anything to offer kids in terms of atmosphere, though. It's been a long time since I have eaten in Alfredo's; maybe someone who has been there recently can give you some input as to whether the atmosphere is fun. I have never tried the Japanese restaurant because my son won't eat the food, but I think it might be fun. I hear the Morroccan restaurant has belly dancing which could be a lot of fun also. :)

definately do le celllier wonderful atmosphere but not totally kid friendly they do offer kids a uestion game not sure if this is all the time though, ask. questions are about canada of course and kids get a certificate at end. alfredos was great they have strolling players and they do a napkin twirling thing. Depends on ages of kids and their ability to sit for lengthy periods.
have not done the other two rest so can not comment.
if yur kids are small they can make a mask flag type thing at every showcase in the kidkot area they decorate a mask you can get at canada and at every world they can add stuff to it and cm's will sign it. Also there are passports that you can buy at any gift shop in epcot that are 10.00 and the kids can get the cm's to sign it in their naive languages. Makes a great souvinear.

Thank you so much for your help. DD is 10 and DS is 7, so not really little. We want the kids to have fun, but also want something for us. One of the days we will be doing the Garden Grill for lunch, so we figure then will be ok with a little more adult supper.

1. Le Cellier - love the food, service and atmosphere
2. Tempanyaki - same as 1
3. Alfredos - never been, gets mixed reviews. I am trying in 2 weeks.
4. Chefs De France - Been there 3 times. Extremely average food and service but pretty atmosphere. Only restaraunt I have been able to walk right into w/o ADR's which is why I went the additional 2 times.

The food is yummy. My hubby and I both found things we liked on the menu. He likes spicy, not me. There was a belly dancer that performed which the kids love. I think it is a forgotten gem at Epcot.

We have eaten at several of the WS restaurants - including Teppanyaki and LeCellier from your list. We really liked both, although I have to say, LeCellier is just the yummiest restaurant. Most people would agree. We have also enjoyed San Angel Inn, Biergarten and Marakesh(delicious). They were all quite good. Biergarten and Marakesh have fun shows, which make them nice for kids, they include them and all that fun stuff.

Even though it's not on your list, I'd vote for Marrakesh. They have a belly dancer, and the food was good when we went (a few years ago). Your kids might also like the music and show in Biergarten, but I thought the food was lacking there. I'm not that into German food, however. Of course, these aren't the restaurants you mentioned as possibilities! ;)

I would try the following with kids:
Coral Reef.....the fish tank is wonderful

San Angel Inn - Mexico --- the river ride goes through the restaurant and the atmosphere is wonderful...so's the food!

But out of your choices....Chef's de France and L'Originale Alfredo's would be my choices!
