Booking resort, passes to park, and airfare by myself or going through a Travel Agent? We would like to find the cheapest:( way to stay at the BC, but if it's to much then it's back to the CBR::) We're planning for the last week of August '05.

You will get differing answers, some people like to do it all themselves, many use a Disney specialist travel agent who will monitor the codes and automatically apply them to reduce their rates.

If you monitor these boards constantly and call Disney everyday, you will get the same rate as a good Disney specialist travel agent.

I prefer to sleep some mornings and let Joe at Dream Come True Vacations get up and save me some money.

You can also use Dreams Unlimited - they sponsor these boards; many have used them with success also. There are other good Disney specialist agencies too.

Disney hotels--prices are the same. An outfit like Dreams Unlimited (runned by the owner of this board) may do a better job getting a discount if they become available than you might do.

Airfare--Many of the discount airlines (jetblue and SW) don't really book through TA. If you use a TA you'll probably pay a service fee.

Passes--go to mousesavers and see what works best for you.

Botom line--A disney travel agency might help you with your hotel room but that's about it.
