...On a Saturday in the middle of October?? I'm going to one of the two, but I cannot decide which one.

I know they could both be ridiculously busy with Toy Story Land coming online at DHS and F&W going on at Epcot. We are planning on sleeping in since our flight arrives late Friday night. I will make afternoon FP's for one of these parks and our dinner ADR is for 5:10pm at Yachtsman Steakhouse. The plan is to see the 8pm showing of Fantasmic.

If we choose to spend the afternoon at DHS, we will most likely make that our only visit to that park for the week so I want to make sure we can do ToT, RnRC, Star Tours and whatever we can get a FP for in the new Toy Story Land (TSMM??). The only show that is a "must do" is the Frozen Sing-along and that's because *I* said so:rotfl2:. We can leave and go to dinner and then come back for Fantasmic.

If we opt for Epcot, we would avoid the World Showcase because I would not want to fill up on festival food before the big dinner. Once we did Soarin, Test Track, Spaceship Earth and maybe a few more "minor" things, we would head to dinner and then on to Fantasmic.

The group is just myself, DD13 and DD15. We've been to WDW many times and we are going back in October 2019 too so if we miss something, it will (hopefully!) still be there when we come back. I'm not looking to go too hardcore with scheduling and I promised the girls that they would not need to set any alarms on this trip. My plan is to make FP's in the afternoons so that we don't have to worry about getting up early to make it to them.

Please vote WHICH PARK SHOULD I CHOOSE FOR THE AFTERNOON? EPCOT or DHS??

Seems like the F&W crowd would be back around WS, so if y'all are going to hang around FW you should be OK.

I’d say DHS. I’ve been to Epcot several times on Saturday afternoons during F&W as we generally stay at BWV and arrive/leave on Saturdays. In my experience Epcot on Saturdays is incredibly crowded to the point that we probably will avoid it this year when we are there. The standby waits for TT and Soarin are also quite long since there aren’t that many headliners at Epcot and the crowds are large during F&W
