Which week would you pick? (Jan/Feb)

I'm starting to think of a quick weekend trip in January or February. Which weekend would you pick? It will be after January 15th or so. I was thinking MLK weekend so I could get an extra day out of it, but I'm guessing it might be crowded then. And do discounts apply on MLK weekend? I definitely am willing to plan around discounts if I have to! :)

We went for DD1's b-day around Feb/ 10th one year (the weekend before Pres. week started) and the crowds were nice and small.

Thanks for any advice!

I can tell you from my experience (been to WDW the last two January months) that the crowds are very nice to deal with in January. HOWEVER, this past time we went, the first weekend of our trip was MLK holiday and it was much more crowded that the past year obviously b/c of the holiday weekend. When the weekend ended the crowds tapered back down to what they were the year before. Still even with the crowds, it wasn't awful...not anything like summer at WDW...but still you could see a difference...especially in the Magic Kingdom. :) Hope that helps!! :goodvibes

Thanks! We spend most of our time in MK. We went once Jan. when I ran the 1/2 marathon and the crowds weren't too bad. But then we went the 2nd weekend of Feb. and they were much lower! It does get cold at night which makes it kind of a pain since you have to lug sweatshirts around, but the low crowds were worth it!
