Which Week to Go in January?

Hi All,

I am trying to plan another trip for next Jan. My question is which week would be less busy -- Jan 1 - 8 or Jan 6 - 13?

I would chose Jan 6 - 13th. As the previous poster notes, the earlier part of the week would still have some school vacation crowds Then you add in the Disney Marathon weekend crowd and that makes the first week fairly busy.

Completely agree. If you take the very first week you're going to get residual holiday crowds and the marathon crowds which will bring 40k runners/family members to the parks. You'll also spend the end of your vacation having to travel to parks while avoiding the runners and the traffic closures they bring.

Taking the second week option still gets you the marathon crowds but at least it's the start of your vacation. Then they'll hopefully lessen by the day in the week following the races.
