Surprising the teen girls for christmas.
Trying to decide to go dec 28-30 or jan 4-6. Also taking my 7 year old niece. Suggestions on what would be best?

The week between Christmas and New Years is the busiest of the year. There will be multiple days with gate closures. On the other hand, the last few days of Christmas in the parks in January will also be extremely crowded with APs who have been blocked out at the end of December and are trying to get their last visit in before it ends. Both will be crowded, but most people don't want to deal with gate closures. Have you looked at hotels yet? I'd let that factor decide.
