I can't decide which to do! I am trying to plan a longer trip, at least 10 days w/o DS missing more than 4 days of school.

Go the 1st week in Jan (Dec. 30-Jan. 9) or the 1st week in June (May 27-June 6)? How are the crowds during those weeks?

I know Jan will be cold w/ride closings. We usually go in early Feb so we know. I would guess new years to be crowded, but maybe quieter after???

June will be HOT, have gay days & have star wars weekends. I am guessing this week would be more crowded. We have been in July & hated the heat/humidity. But DS would miss NO school & maybe we could go to DHS on a star wars day.

Please help me figure this out!:flower3:

I would go with December/Janaury, but bear in mind that you will stay "holiday" guests and crowds up until January 2nd, and then you will have marathon crowds. Weather can be ANYTHING from 50's and damp cold with wind to sunny and low 80's.

If you don't mind taking your kid out of school I wouldn't go with either of those dates. Here's why. Your Dec/Jan dates you will have the horrendous holiday crowds. Kids are still out of school until the first week of January. The first week of June kids are already out of school in most places so you are going to have the heavy summer crowds and the miserable Florida heat and humidity.

I would go anytime in October. Cooler weather and low crowds. Or the first 2 week in December which I have read in all the guide books are the least crowded 2 weeks of the year.

Also January and Feb aren't very crowded unless you get around a holiday like President's day, etc. From what I have been told anyway. I can't say from personal experience.
