Which week in October?

We'd like to try the MNSSHP this year and, since we homeschool, are flexiable about dates. I know my DH has work commitments for the 3rd week in October...which other week would you suggest, given crowds and weather? I was thinking of the last week, but worry if the weekend before Halloween will just be too packed. (We're pretty used to the low crowds of late January/early Feb.---but the weather then is just too cold for us for the pools, etc.) :flower1:
Thanks!

We love to go in October! We usually head down around the 26th and don't return until around Nov. 1. The crowds are not to bad at all. I think we waited 15 min at the most for any ride. It is also still great time for swimming but days were comfortable. :cool1: Halloween at the Magic Kingdom is so cool! But make sure you get your tickets, they are seperate. They have specific sights set up around the park to trick-or-treat at and take a FREE picture of you in your costume that is mailed to you later. EVERYONE dresses up so don't forget your costume. pirate:

we always go at the end of oct since my ds b-day is the 30th. we have always found the crowds to be light except for this past oct but i was told that was due to people rescheduling due to the hurricaines.the best time was at mnsshp there were no crowds at all and we did the whole park in about an hour it was great. we actually saved a park hopper speant the day at the pool and went again after having such a great time and absolutly no lines. just avoid mnsshp on halloween then i heard it is very crowded.

Sounds like I may stay with our original plan...last week of October, leaving on Oct. 30...back home in time for our "usual" Halloween!

Thanks again!
