which week in october???

I can only go to wdw in october anytime between columbus day and halloween.....i know mnsshp will be busier closer to halloween party....but which week has overall lower crowds??? Thanks!

Last week of October!!!! MNSSHP sold out during Columbus Day week last year! I went the last Friday before Halloween and my party was not sold out! Crowds were low! Best week, hands down!

We went the 22-29th and it was mild, except for a weekend Food & Wine in the World Showcase, which was a MADHOUSE. We did a weeknight MNSSHP and it was very manageable. Walk on rides and SO much fun. We can't go back this year but if the stars align we will try and definitely so next year. The weather was perfection! No rain or crazy heat.

I was there the exact same time! Yes,WS is crazy during F&W! We really didn't spend much time there bc we have little ones... But other than that I agree it was mild. Even our Friday night MNSSHP was not very busy!
We go in October every year and love that last week... This year we have to go the week of Columbus Day and I'm a bit nervous about it!

I've done the last week and the next to last week. Both were great as far as heat/humidity and crowds. In fact my MK day was on a MNSSHP (we did not attend) and the park was pretty much a walk on.

I love late October.

Reading this makes me very happy as we are going this year 10/21-10/30 (Tuesday to the next Thursday)

Thanks for the input! I think I will avoid Columbus Day week and try for one of the last 2 weeks, depending on when the MNSSHP falls (we are only going 4 nights)....

We went 10/22 in 2011 and are thinking of the same date again this year 10/18-10/25 or should we push it a week to 10/25-11/1? Why is this so hard to decide? I need an intervention!
