We are planning an end of summer trip and have two sets of dates in mind. We have been to Disneyland many times, so we don't need to do everything, but we don't want to be stuck in unmovable crowds like we were last October. My kids are older, so they prefer thrill rides to Fantasyland, but we still like to spend time on family favorites such as the Storybook Cruise and Alice in Wonderland. We will have park hoppers.
Week of August 14th (probably in DLR the 15-17): This is good because the APs are still blocked for So Cal. However, more schools are still out on summer break. Hotel prices are a little more expensive this week which leads me to think there will be more people from out of town.
Week of August 21st (probably in DLR the 22nd - 24th): This is good because while the APs are no longer blocked, LA and Orange county school districts are back in session. Hotels are less expensive but I know how much busier it can be with the open APs.
Thanks!
