The good news is my dh told me to start planning, now our dilema. Since we are just going as the 5 of us this time, grandma/papa went the last few years, we don't know where to stay. We have looked at the port orleans, and then thought about only staying 7 nights and staying at the contemporary, but we just don't know what to do. We don't want to go crazy with money, but we like to feel like we are on vacation. Which one does everyone suggest, or is there another place that we should look at. Some place that is fun for us and the kids.

The Polynesian is awesome! The rooms sleep 5, you have a beach feel, great pool, great relaxed atmosphere, you can watch wishes from you room if you get a MK view or from the beach with a garden view.

I had the same problem planning our last trip. We counted as a familiy of 5 this time. I narrowed our options to the family suites at All Star, a trundle room at POR or a deluxe. We didn't want to go to a value so that was out. I looked at the trundle room at POR and had that as our first choice but realized that the room was way too small for our family to be comfortable so we decided on a deluxe.

We originally booked Poly but switched to BC after the codes came out to save $. I am so glad we didn't decide on the trundle room. We would have been miserable in that room.

We've stayed at POFQ in the past and loved it but the only complaint was the size of the room. So I couldn't have imagined my family in that size of room. We all enjoyed BC and loved the room. The room was perfect and no one complained in the slightest about the room. I think it would have been a completely different story if we would have chose one of the other options.

I say a deluxe is the only option for a family of 5 if you can afford the additional money for one. Hope this helps.

POR is a beautiful resort! It is very peaceful and relaxing. I have stayed there twicw [don't get to Disney as much as most of you!], once with just my sis, and once with my DH and 3 kids. I can highly recommend it!:thumbsup2

We have stayed at the Beech Club Villas for the last several years. How old are your kids? The Storm-a-long Bay is fantastic for all ages.
