Which Water Park?

Hello Everyone! This is my first post, so please bear with me if it is in the wrong forum or I do something wrong. . .

This is my tenth WDW trip, but my family and I have never done the water parks. We would love to go this time;however, we may only have time to visit one. Which water park do you prefer: Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach?

Hi Cinderellagirl17,welcome to the DIS! I am "old school" and my favorite is STILL River Country. Sadly,it's closed,so my "new" favorite water park,is TL. I think it's a great theme,and our entire family loved it. Our kids at the time were 15,12 & 5 and they each had a blast. Get there early to get chairs and a great spot. Have fun!!

TL! Better wave pool, better theming, tropical, beach music, just a nicer park to me.

We mostly go to Blizzard Beach. It use to be the most crowded, but with the new crush n gusher at TL the crowds are less.

Blizzard Beach is my personal favorite becaus of one slide, Summit Plummet!

My family really enjoyed Typhoon Lagoon last June. There was something for everyone (DD4 and DD6). We want to go back!

We like both and don't see a big difference between them. I think TL is better for small kids. My 13 yr. old prefers TL, because he likes the snorkeling area.

We always like BB for the slides. The family raft ride, downhill double dipper, and toboggan races are some of the greats. The wave pool is nothing exciting, just an average bobbing wave pool. My DD 11 has always enjoyed the preteen ski patrol area and trying to cross the icebergs. TL has an awesome wave pool and that's where we spend most of our time. We always take a lap through Shark Reef (snorkling with the sharks) and we'll definitely be going on the new Crush n Gusher slides on our next trip. We love them both so much, but for different reasons.
