We normally go to Wet n Wild, as they offer their half price days if you go in the afternoon. However it appears that they are renovating the kids area so we will not be going this year. We have never been to another water park there and I see there are a few options and I am seeking help (we are leaving tomorrow)

My son is 4.5, LOVES the water. I am pregnant so I will not be going on anything that would not be suitable for me, and my DH may go on slides he could do with our son, he wouldn't do anything alone.

Knowing this, what waterpark would you suggest? I am not partial to Disney, or seaworld. We have a rental car so distance, and staying on disney property (just not a disney resort)

I think your son would love Aquatica. Their play area is huge and great for kids. We like Blizzard Beach and Typhoon also but the grandkids loved Aquatica.

If you are looking for something budget friendly that would be suitable for younger kids, maybe this would be worth checking into?

$50 for waterpark admission for 4 to Coco Key on International drive, plus two "Kids Eat Free" cards and a "VIP Dine For Less" card:

I will agree with the PP that Aquatica looks amazing (though we have never been......our first visit is coming up this August) and Discovery Cove is also fantastic for a water-filled, fun family day (though certainly the priciest of all options).

This is interesting, has anyone been to Coco Key? I would rather it all be outside.... but, I guess that is one alternative

Aquatica would be my choice, the Disney waterparks are also great but Aquatica has two kids areas and the fast lazy river which is fun for everyone.

I have been to other CoCo Keys (it is a popular chain), and they are ok. We have a few in driving distance for long weekends in the winter for a quick getaway. They do not compare to Disney's water parks though. We love both BB and TL, and they both have great things for kids of all ages. Either one would be great (or add both for just a little more with the water parks/more option-which includes Disney Quest too which your kiddo may like?) Aquatica does look fun too, but I haven't been there before.

Aquatica! It's a really great water park! My 2nd favorite would be Blizzard Beach :thumbsup2

Totally agree that Aquatica is the best choice for your situation.
