Which water park?

So, we are heading home the last week of Sept. and have decided to finally do a waterpark!!! There are 8 of us going, 4 adults and kids 16, 10, 8 and 4. Which waterpark would you choose?

Why not get WP&M and try both

Blizzard Beach is more thrill rides
Typhoon Lagoon has a great wave pool / lazy river

Our family is split. I love BB. The theming and feel of the park. I tend to like all the tube slides and rides. My kids and husband like TL. They like all the slides and wave pool. Crushin Gusher is a fun ride but make sure that you lift your bottom up so it does not get bruised. Both parks have really nice childrne areas for the little ones.

Personally, we love Typhoon Lagoon.
Only problem, is the wave pool has a really sharp bottom, sit down and you get huge scratches. ( Found that out the hard way, OW! )

However, you should try and get to both of the parks. They're both awesome!

I love the relaxed tropical feel of Typhoon Lagoon. Kids like BB, but I can't stand looking at any snow, even if it's fake!

check out the Ski Patrol of BB on-line. It's great for kids the ages of your younger 3. The kiddie area at TL is really designed more for toddlers. My dd's were 4 and decided it was "for babies". If you can get WP&M tickets, you can do both. The older kids will probably like the swim with the sharks tank at TL and the slides there. As another poster said, be careful of the wave pool at TL. The bottom is very rough and my kids have all refused to get in after getting knocked down by adults, who were knocked down by waves. They prefer the one at BB, even tho it's not as big. The lazy river at BB is also longer then the one at TL, and so is the family raft ride. Plus, at BB you don't have to carry the raft up the stairs.

We prefer TL. More shaded areas and just does not feel as crowded.

Blizzard Beach is our favorite. Seems to have more to do. Mostly centrally located on mountain.
But if your party can't walk up many stairs all day, then Typhoon Lagoon may be better suited.
Either way you will enjoy!

i'd reccomend typhoon but thats just because i love it!
