Which Water Park

Will be open for the winter season this year?
The kids loved BB last year but I think it may be TL this year that's open, anyone got any ideas?

Typhoon Lagoon - Closed for rehab from October 26, 2008 to March 22, 2009

This would suggest BB will be late/early next year as I think they refurb one each year alternating between the two.

this would make sense - but when I was at Typhoon Lagoon I asked a CM and they said that they don't always alternate??! Perhaps they see which park is in most need of refurbishment at the time??!!

I was afraid that it would be BB that was closed, I'm kind of hoping that it will be TL again so that the kids can do all their favorite stuff.

I did not enjoy Aquatica that much, in fact I really wished I had went to BB again, even though weve been so many times.
And all my family agreed with that sentimant.

A difference of opionion here. We really liked Aquatica. We went at the end of August last year, after the Americans had gone back to school. Earlier in the year, it was closed by 11.00 in peeps as it was full. We also paid for the cookout, which DH liked, although I wasn't too keen on it.

There wasn't as much shade and plants, unlike Disney. But there were some good rides and my DS liked the kids water park, where buckets fill with water and then tip over.

We would have gone again, and we loved the fast flowing lazy river thing where you put the life vests on. I couldn't get out and just kept wizzing by.

Of the 2 Disney ones, we like Typoon Lagoon the best.

Its always really interesting when we end up discussing favourite water parks as everyone seems to have different views!! We went to Aquatica in May and didn't really care for it, although we liked it better than typhoon lagoon!! However Blizzard Beach is by far our favourite!!

But when we all discuss the WDW parks, although of course there are always some differences, its usually MK and Epcot that are the two front runners, leaving DHS and AK well behind!! I wonder why we therefore vary so much when it comes to the water parks??!!

Just an observation really, sorry to go OT!!!

Aah see MK is actually my least favourite park! Epcot and DHS at the front, although I've never been to AK, so that might top it!

I prefer Typhoon lagoon to BB. I think it's better for younger kids, and we'll be missing BB this year (unless TL is shut!).

isn't it funny how we all are so different!! We liked BB best because we thought it was the best for our children!!
