Which water park is better??

Just curious! We have a Hurricane Harbor near us (Arlington TX), and ofcourse schlitterban (sp) is about 4 hours from us also. Would you spend a day at one of these parks if you were me. We do have 1 day off in the middle of our week to chill and swim and shop DTD, but we would be willing to chill at the water park instead

If you have frequented Schlitterban in the past, there is probably very little at either of WDWs water parks that will excite you beyond the overall themeing which is excellent. Try exploring Disney Quest

Having said that Summit Plummet at blizzard beach is fun and terrifying!

I would do Blizzard Beach. World's tallest and fastest water slide.

It has got to be Typhoon Lagoon. I love it and could spend forever there!

Another vote for Typhoon Lagoon! I've been to several water parks and have not found one I enjoy as much as TL.

thanks! No we havent been to schlitterban (but we could! if we wanted too lol) but we have that hurricane harbor thing and never even go there either lol.

We have lots of pools in our subdivision with one that has a big water slide...we just squint and pretend a lot...hahaha

Maybe a trip to the water park would be a good idea, i think tho, that we will play it by ear that day hubby might not want to go, so maybe just the boy and i will shoot over there !

whats schlitterban???

Blizzard Beach for me, the family raft is so much better, the slides are bigger including tubes ones.

when we went to typhoon the queues were always big and the ride last a mattter of seconds.

BB is better and bigger

the only thing TL has up against BB if all you want to do is get splashed by huge waves (didnt like that), try swimming with sharks (which i do wanna try) and crusher n gusher (queue was way to long)

whereas BB i feel is just so much better

I've never been to blizzard beach. THe last time I was at Typhoon lagoon was about 3 months after it opened. Hopefully when we go in Sept. We will go back, or we could go to blizzard beach, or better yet go to both.

schlitterban has been voted year after year the best water park in the country, for good reason. The only thing it lacks is a little "Magic"
